The Gwangjin-gu Guwon 1-dong Volunteer Camp is holding the "Shining Our Neighborhood Gallery" diamond painting exhibition at the first-floor exhibition hall of the Guwon 1-dong Community Center until the 14th.
This exhibition features a total of 28 diamond paintings created through talent donations by volunteer camp members and volunteers, and the proceeds from sales will be used to support low-income vulnerable groups.
◇Jayang 1-3-dong Jayang-dong Good Neighborhood Making Church Union, Sharing Hope Boxes for Families in Crisis
The Jayang 3-dong Community Center in Gwangjin-gu received hope boxes for low-income families in crisis from the "Jayang-dong Good Neighborhood Making Church Union" on the 4th.
The hope boxes, worth about 200,000 won, consisted of masks and daily necessities and were delivered to 48 low-income households struggling through difficult days due to COVID-19.
On the same day, the Jayang 1-dong and Jayang 2-dong Community Centers also received hope boxes from the church union and delivered them to 80 and 40 needy households, respectively.
The "Jayang-dong Good Neighborhood Making Church Union," composed of seven churches located in Jayang 1, 2, and 3-dong, has been practicing sharing for neighbors in need in the local community for several years.
This event was held on a small scale to prevent the spread of COVID-19, and volunteer camp members personally visited the homes of elderly people who could not attend to deliver the boxes.
