Haitai Confectionery Launches 'Mini Choco Chip Sable'
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-sun] Haitai Confectionery announced on the 10th that it will launch a "Mini Choco Chip Sable," a younger version of the Sable.
This is the first time since the Sable's release in 1975 that its size and taste have been completely changed. The characteristic crispy surface now contains real chocolate chunks. Thanks to the addition of cocoa powder during the dough stage, it has an appetizing dark color and a hint of chocolate aroma. Another feature is the addition of cinnamon, which is popular among younger consumers. The size has been reduced to half of the original.
