[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Juhyung] Ten additional foreign workers in Gangneung, Gangwon Province, have tested positive for COVID-19.
According to Gangneung City on the 10th, recent test results confirmed that 10 foreign workers tested positive.
Among them, one was in self-quarantine, and nine were identified during follow-up testing targeting foreign workers.
This brings the total number of confirmed foreign workers in Gangneung to 86.

Gangneung City stated, "Following the recent cluster outbreak of 86 foreign workers and the occurrence of nine confirmed domestic cases, there is concern about secondary infections within the region," adding, "We will take administrative measures with a zero-tolerance policy against violations of quarantine rules."
