Joint Financial Sector Job Fair to be Held in August with Participation from 55 Companies

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Sun-mi] The 'Joint Recruitment Fair for the Financial Sector' will be held online in a non-face-to-face format over two days on August 25 and 26.
On the 9th, 55 financial institutions including the Korea Federation of Banks, Korea Financial Investment Association, Korea Life Insurance Association, Korea Non-Life Insurance Association, Korea Credit Finance Association, Korea Federation of Savings Banks, and financial public enterprises announced that, under the sponsorship of the Financial Services Commission and the Financial Supervisory Service, they will hold a joint recruitment fair for the financial sector in August.
This fair, held for the fifth time since 2017, will operate a permanent recruitment information platform for the financial sector to support employment and provide an AI one-stop employment support service to prepare for non-face-to-face recruitment.
The previously temporary recruitment fair website will be converted into a permanent recruitment information platform for the financial sector and expanded and operated until December. It will provide financial sector employment information such as a recruitment calendar, employment white papers, and digital job introductions. In particular, from preparing application documents to job consulting, mentoring by current employees, and practical mock interviews, an AI one-stop employment support service will be provided to create an experience space for non-face-to-face recruitment programs in the financial sector.
Additionally, to expand communication between financial companies and job seekers, various content such as online recruitment briefings explaining recruitment processes and desired talent, Q&A sessions, and employment senior talk concerts where job seekers can hear employment know-how from current employees will be offered.
Meanwhile, IBK Industrial Bank, NH Nonghyup Bank, Shinhan Bank, Woori Bank, KEB Hana Bank, and KB Kookmin Bank will conduct non-face-to-face interviews on August 25 and 26, and outstanding interviewees will be granted exemption from the first document screening in the public recruitment this fall. According to the model regulations for bank recruitment procedures, the exemption benefit will be reflected in advance planning and announcements.

The joint recruitment fair website for the financial sector will open on the 10th. A financial sector official stated, "Various content such as live employment lectures in May, employment senior talk concerts in June, and recruitment briefings in July will be provided sequentially."
