Namwon-si Agricultural Technology Center Promotes Fermented Food Manufacturing Using Rice Nuruk
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Nosik] The Jeonbuk Namwon Agricultural Technology Center (Director Na Sangwoo) announced on the 7th that it is promoting a fermented food manufacturing project using rice nuruk to expand the field distribution of research and development technologies utilizing agricultural and rural resources.
The manufacturing project, aimed at increasing the added value of agricultural products and expanding the related market through the processing of fermented foods using rice nuruk, distributes developed technologies such as sparkling Makgeolli manufacturing technology and raw rice fermented soju manufacturing technology.
The project target is Cheonnyeonju Brewery (CEO Lee Heejeong) located in Jucheon-myeon, Namwon.
To improve the manufacturing process, support for saccharification tanks and fermentation tanks has been received, and distilled liquor using rice is planned to be developed and launched.
