Lotte Food's Ice Cream Subscription Service Sells Out on First Day
[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Lotte Foods announced on the 7th that its ice cream subscription event, 'Strawberry Festival,' sold out within 5 hours of opening.
Lotte Foods began accepting applications for the 'Strawberry Festival' through its official online mall, Lotte Food Mall, from 10 a.m. the previous day, and by around 6 p.m., all 100 prepared units were sold out.
The 'Strawberry Festival,' Lotte Foods' first ice cream subscription service, costs 37,200 KRW (12,400 KRW per month) and delivers 25 Lotte Foods ice creams to customers' homes every month for three months. Customers who subscribe will also receive a Pig Bar Pink goods set.
The Pig Bar Pink goods were created in collaboration with the popular lifestyle shopping application 'Brandy.' The 'Pinknic' set, filled with pink items perfect for outdoor outings, includes ▲ picnic table ▲ picnic mat ▲ socks ▲ eco bag ▲ basket. The Pig Bar Pink picnic mat, socks, and eco bag are sold on the Brandy shopping app.
The first month's products consist of Lotte Foods' strawberry ice cream series released this spring, including 10 Pig Bar Pink, 5 Gugu Cone Strawberry, and 10 Papico Strawberry. The second month features Lotte Foods' top three products, and the third month is themed as an ice cream collection. Delivery dates are May 19, June 16, and July 21, respectively.
