Chonnam National University Hospital Holds 2nd Campaign for Child Abuse Prevention
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Gwan-woo] Jeonnam National University Hospital announced on the 4th that it conducted a child abuse prevention campaign on the 3rd to establish a reporting and support system for vulnerable patients.
The child abuse campaign, hosted by the Public Health Medical Project Office of Jeonnam National University Hospital, was organized to raise awareness among local residents about the seriousness of child abuse and to ensure prompt action and reporting when child abuse is detected.
The campaign was held for two hours in the lobbies of Building 1 and Building 6 of the hospital, with only essential personnel attending, including the Public Health Medical Project Team of Jeonnam National University Hospital, the Women and Children Division of Buk-gu Office in Gwangju Metropolitan City, and the Bitgoeul Child Protection Agency.
During the campaign, explanations on child abuse reporting procedures were provided to approximately 900 people, including medical staff, guardians, and visitors.
Additionally, promotional materials such as leaflets on how to report child abuse, mask straps engraved with prevention slogans, shopping bags, dust bags for children, and KF94 masks were distributed alongside a child abuse prevention video broadcast on a large multi-screen in the lobby of Building 1.
