Launch of Product Combining Samsung Electronics Products and SK Magic Management Service
Significantly Strengthening Rental Competitiveness with New 'Gonggan Management Service'
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heeyoon] SK Magic announced on the 4th that it has signed a strategic business agreement (MOU) with Samsung Electronics.
The signing ceremony took place at SK Magic's brand experience space "It’s Magic" located in Gildong, Gangdong-gu. Yoon Yoseop, CEO of SK Magic, and Kang Bonggu, Vice President and Head of Samsung Electronics Korea, attended the event.
Through this business agreement, both companies plan to actively collaborate in various areas including ▲selling Samsung Electronics' home appliances on the SK Magic platform ▲launching products that combine Samsung Electronics products with SK Magic rental services ▲expanding sales channels through SK Group affiliates and subscription platforms.
With this agreement, SK Magic will be able to strengthen its lineup of large appliances such as air dressers, dryers, washing machines, and refrigerators, which have been in high demand from customers. Samsung Electronics will be able to actively respond to new customer demands for rental services.
Additionally, SK Magic plans to introduce service products that manage the entire space, along with general rental management services such as free product A/S and consumable replacement. SK Magic explained that these new combined products and space management services, which meet diverse customer needs, are expected to help increase sales and expand rental accounts.
Kang Bonggu, Vice President and Head of Samsung Electronics Korea, said, “Based on the advanced capabilities of both companies representing their respective fields, we will strive to create new customer value,” adding, “We will actively seek various cooperation methods to maximize synergy with SK Magic, our optimal partner.”
