Gwangju City to Open Recruitment for Industrial Safety and Health Guardians Until the 11th
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Seon-gang] Gwangju Metropolitan City announced on the 3rd that it is openly recruiting 'Industrial Safety and Health Guardians' who directly visit industrial sites to inspect safety.
The guardians visit high-risk construction sites to prevent fall accidents by checking the use of personal protective equipment, the safe installation of safety railings and system scaffolding, compliance with safety rules, and encouraging improvements.
The recruitment targets are those with more than six months of practical experience in disaster prevention specialized guidance institutions or safety management diagnosis institutions designated by the Ministry of Employment and Labor, or holders of relevant qualifications such as Construction Safety Engineer, Industrial Safety Instructor, or Construction Safety Technician. A total of four people will be selected through document screening and interviews.
The application period is from the 4th to the 11th, and detailed information can be found in the notices posted on the city’s website or the Gwangju Labor Center website.

Lee Bo-geun, the city’s Labor Cooperation Officer, said, “The role of guardians who directly visit industrial sites to inspect and guide safety vulnerabilities and induce facility improvements is important to prevent various industrial accidents,” and added, “We ask for active participation from qualified experienced professionals and experts.”
