COWON Signs Publishing Contract for RPG 'The Skull 2: Ma Wang Seonbaljeon'
[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Hyowon] COWON (formerly NesM), a game publishing specialist, announced on the 30th that it has signed a publishing contract for 'The Skull 2: Ma-wang Selection (The Skull 2),' developed by 'Peopleug,' an RPG specialist developer in its 9th year.
'The Skull 2: Ma-wang Selection' is a 24-hour infinite idle RPG game featuring speedy battles and the nurturing of charming heroes. Players can raise over 144 diverse characters belonging to factions such as the demon tribe, creatures, and death, and collect a colorful treasure collection of more than 240 types used by past heroes.
True to its idle RPG nature, it offers battle content that never gets boring, treasure chests obtainable every 50 stages, and a Ma-wang Selection mode where players can build their own decks to become the number one in PVP rankings, providing game modes that satisfy everyone.
COWON is building its global publishing lineup with 'The Skull 2: Ma-wang Selection' following titles like 'Fortress V2,' 'Dragon Raja EX,' and '9M Pro Baseball 21.' 'The Skull 2: Ma-wang Selection' is preparing for global service and a large-scale content update, and is scheduled to be unveiled in a new form in the first half of 2021.
Through its publishing business, COWON is discovering IP games, sports games, and new promising games, aiming to establish itself as a mid-sized publisher by signing publishing contracts with domestic game companies that have game development capabilities and growth potential.

It is a mobile RPG specialist developer with rich development experience and know-how, having worked on titles such as 'Lost Havana,' 'The Skull,' 'Havana Chronicle,' and 'Girl Craft.'

Meanwhile, 'The Skull 2: Ma-wang Selection' is expected to be newly introduced to domestic RPG fans in early July through the publishing collaboration between Peopleug and COWON.
