Gangdong Police Chief Joins 'SOS Relay Challenge' to Eradicate Child Abuse
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Jung-yoon] Kang Sang-gil, chief of the Gangdong Police Station in Seoul, participated on the 3rd in the child abuse eradication campaign 'Save Our Seoul (SOS) Relay Challenge.'
The SOS Relay Challenge is a campaign conducted under the slogan 'Look, Find, Inform, Protect' to prevent various types of violence including child abuse and gradually eliminate welfare blind spots. It proceeds by posting the slogan phrase on social networking services (SNS) and nominating the next participant.
Chief Kang joined the campaign upon the nomination of Lee Jung-hoon, mayor of Gangdong-gu, and nominated Park Kyung-jung, chief of Suseo Police Station, and Park Eun-kyung, director of Gangdong-Songpa Office of Education, as the next participants.

Chief Kang said, "Eliminating welfare blind spots such as child abuse has limitations if only the police and related organizations make efforts," adding, "We hope citizens remember and actively report by following the SOS Relay Challenge motto of 'Look,' 'Find,' 'Inform,' and 'Protect.'"
