Hana Financial Group 'Long Drive Challenge'... "Defeat the Major Queen"
Hana Financial Group is launching the 'Beat the Major Queen!' Long Drive Online Challenge.
This event commemorates Patty Tavatanakit (Thailand, pictured) winning the first major of the 2021 LPGA Tour season, the ANA Inspiration, last month. All amateur golfers can participate for three weeks until the 23rd. The event is held entirely online and can be joined from any screen golf center nationwide. Participants upload videos to their personal social media (SNS), and 111 players with the best scores will receive prizes.

Among them, the top 11 will compete in an offline final for Ping Golf equipment actually used by Tavatanakit. Tavatanakit is a long hitter, recording an average drive distance of 280.78 yards this year. Building on her major victory, she ranks first in Player of the Year and Rookie of the Year, and fourth in prize money this year. Hana Financial Group explained, "We have received many inquiries about Tavatanakit," adding, "Interest in her specialty, long drives, is high, so we prepared this event."
