The event began with the appointment ceremony of the Cheongjeong Net committee members, a greeting from the mayor, and the launch ceremony. The second part proceeded with self-introductions by each division, election of division heads, and a workshop to discuss the schedule for division meetings.
The district forms and operates a youth network that will serve as a channel for participation and communication to discover realistic ideas reflecting the diverse needs and opinions of youth and incorporate them into youth policies.
About 100 members were appointed as Nowon Cheongjeong Net committee members across eight divisions including participation, jobs, culture and arts, housing, and climate/environment. From May to November, they will be responsible for discovering and proposing youth-related policy agendas and operating public forums.
