The QR code input method, previously used for visitor management, has been inconvenient for elderly people unfamiliar with IT devices, and handwritten logs have had issues such as false information entries and personal information leaks.
Accordingly, the district is supporting communication costs to introduce the '080 Easy Phone Check-in Service' targeting about 9,200 businesses in the area where visitor logs are mandatory.
The 080 Easy Phone Check-in Service records the phone number and entry time automatically when a person calls the number assigned to each business using their own mobile phone.
The district began a pilot operation targeting bathhouse businesses in April, and after system establishment, expanded the target from May, supporting the service for six months until October. Extension of support will be considered depending on the COVID-19 situation.

Kim Seon-gap, Mayor of Gwangjin-gu, said, "Looking at the infection routes of recent confirmed cases in Gwangjin-gu, nearly 40% are family infections, followed by cluster infections and private gatherings. Visitor records play an important role in enabling rapid response to cluster infections, preventing secondary infections within the community and families. Therefore, we support communication costs for the easy call service so that our local business owners can easily manage visitor logs."
