[Today’s Weather] Yellow Dust Rain Across the Country... Mostly Stops by Morning
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bong-ju] On Friday the 30th, rain will fall nationwide amid mostly cloudy skies.
The Korea Meteorological Administration forecasted, "From the night before until the morning of the day, there will be showers accompanied by thunder and lightning, and hail in some areas."
According to the KMA, most of the rain will stop by the morning, but rain will continue in the Seoul metropolitan area, Gangwon Province, and northern Chungcheongbuk-do until the afternoon.
Precipitation amounts are expected to be 5 to 40 mm in Gangwon Province, northern Chungcheongbuk-do, Gyeongbuk region, eastern Gyeongnam region, Ulleungdo, and Dokdo, and less than 5 mm in the Seoul metropolitan area, Chungcheong region, Jeolla region, and western Gyeongnam region.
In some areas, rain mixed with yellow dust will fall.
Morning low temperatures by region are △Seoul 11°C △Chuncheon 10°C △Gangneung 11°C △Daejeon 13°C △Cheongju 12°C △Daegu 13°C △Gwangju 13°C △Jeonju 13°C △Busan 14°C △Jeju 16°C.
Daytime high temperatures are △Seoul 16°C △Chuncheon 16°C △Gangneung 18°C △Daejeon 18°C △Cheongju 18°C △Daegu 21°C △Gwangju 19°C △Jeonju 17°C △Busan 22°C △Jeju 21°C.
Fine dust levels will be at a 'moderate' level across all regions.
