[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Jinju City, Gyeongnam Province, is vigorously conducting the ‘Jinju Citizens Pause for a Moment’ campaign for two weeks from the 23rd to May 6th to restore citizens' daily lives through the reduction and stable management of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
This campaign is a city-wide movement encouraging each citizen to become the main agent of quarantine by refraining from private gatherings and events, minimizing movement and contact, in order to break the chain of widespread community infection as COVID-19 infections have recently occurred through various routes.
Accordingly, the Jinju City Daycare Center Association is also participating in the campaign together with all daycare centers in the area.
From the 29th, campaign slogans have been attached to 282 school vehicles in operation, and efforts such as utilizing promotional videos are being actively made to ensure that citizens' efforts over the two weeks achieve visible results through promotion and practice.
