Martial Arts, German Auto Parts Company Continental and Domestic Startup Hold '1-on-1 Meetup'
[Asia Economy Reporter Jeong Hyunjin] On the 30th, the Korea International Trade Association will hold a '1-on-1 Online Business Meetup between Domestic Startups' with Continental Automotive Korea, a German automotive parts company.
Continental is a global German automotive parts company that manufactures automotive electronics, tires, powertrains, and more. Recently, the company has been exploring technological innovation and new business models through open innovation with startups worldwide in future mobility fields such as autonomous driving systems, next-generation automotive software, and artificial intelligence (AI).
At the event, online business consultations will be held with four domestic tech startups possessing technologies such as future mobility radar sensor solutions, 3D high-resolution map data processing technology, and AI-based LIDAR recognition software.
Kim Jaegwang, CEO of Viewrun Technology, a provider of LIDAR solutions for ADAS and security Internet of Things (IoT) solutions participating in the meetup, said, "We succeeded in productizing the LIDAR perception solution and achieved 100% autonomous driving between Seoul and Busan with just one sensor," adding, "Through this meetup, we hope to receive technology validation from global companies as well as establish business cooperation."
