[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Seodaemun-gu (Mayor Moon Seok-jin) announced on the 29th that it shares the recent statement of the 'Sustainable Development Local Governments Council' and urges the withdrawal of Japan Fukushima radioactive contaminated water discharge into the ocean and the establishment of alternatives that threaten life and ecosystems.
It also demanded a strong response from our government to withdraw the decision to discharge radioactive contaminated water into the ocean, including transparent consultation with the international community on the entire waste disposal process in Japan and filing international lawsuits.
