Samcheonri Advances Data Management... "Strengthening Digital Competitiveness"
Building a Data Integration Platform and Enhancing Employee Data Analysis Capabilities
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Comprehensive energy group Samchully has officially embarked on data-driven management. Samchully announced on the 28th that it has built a cloud-based system to systematically manage various data such as city gas sales volume, revenue, construction and safety inspection status, billing, and resource management, which had been sporadically accumulated in the internal system. It was explained that various external factors such as energy price indices and weather were also linked for analysis.
Samchully stated that the system automatically updates data at set intervals and visualizes it, eliminating the repetitive collection tasks that occurred at multiple stages, which is expected to improve employee productivity. Real-time access to management data is also anticipated to support faster and more precise decision-making by executives.
In addition, Samchully conducted employee training last year to strengthen analytical capabilities for deriving insights from vast data. Within this year, the company plans to expand this by providing data analysis platform training, putting significant effort into enhancing employees' data management skills.
