Korea Ezae and Luxid Labs Form Strategic Partnership for VR-Based Solution Development and Supply
Healthcare specialist pharmaceutical company ‘Korea Eisai’ has signed a strategic business partnership agreement with ‘LUCID LABS,’ which provides AI-based biometric signal analysis VR cognitive health management solutions, to develop and supply VR-based cognitive function assessment and training solutions.
The two companies held the business agreement ceremony on the 13th at Korea Eisai’s headquarters located on Bongeunsa-ro, Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
At the ceremony, Korea Eisai CEO Ko Hong-byeong and LUCID LABS CEO Chae Yong-wook attended and agreed to utilize their respective expertise to create a new healthcare environment and lead the market.
Korea Eisai CEO Ko Hong-byeong expressed at the event, “In the post-COVID and Fourth Industrial Revolution era, I have high expectations for partnering with LUCID LABS as a company leading the healthcare industry. Moving forward, I hope both companies will focus more on their strengths and complement their weaknesses to become a company that provides necessary solutions to patients and their caregivers.”
In response, LUCID LABS CEO Chae Yong-wook said, “This business agreement with Korea Eisai has solidified LUCID LABS’ direction toward an AI-based VR mental healthcare data platform leading the digital healthcare market. Through this collaboration, we will secure competitiveness as a platform for early detection and improvement of cognitive and emotional disorders and strive to achieve robust scale-up together with Korea Eisai.”
Korea Eisai is the Korean subsidiary of the global pharmaceutical company Eisai Co., Ltd., advocating ‘Human Health Care’ as its corporate philosophy. It conducts various businesses for patients and their families and has recently engaged in senior care activities through partnerships with various companies.

LUCID LABS is a venture company developing technology that collects and analyzes biometric signals such as gaze and brainwaves while enjoying games in a virtual reality (VR) environment to help understand and improve cognitive health in middle-aged and elderly populations. Recently, it signed an agreement with SK Telecom and Busan National University Hospital for a ‘5G MEC-based VR elderly care pilot service.’
