'BojoGeum24' Fully Launched to Help You Find Benefits You Are Eligible For
Check 305 Services at Once Including Childcare Allowance, Energy Voucher, and Youth Preferential Subscription Account Provided by Central Government Ministries
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Cheol-young] The ‘Bojogeum24’ service, which allows citizens to check and apply for all the government subsidies they are eligible for at once by accessing ‘Government24,’ has been officially launched nationwide.
On the 28th, the Ministry of the Interior and Safety announced the official launch of the ‘Bojogeum24’ service nationwide. ‘Bojogeum24’ is a system that enables users to check 305 services provided by central government ministries at once through the government’s main portal Government24 (www.gov.kr), including childcare allowances, energy vouchers, and youth preferential subscription savings accounts.
Bojogeum24 provides customized benefit information by linking an individual’s age, household characteristics, and welfare eligibility information. The services are mainly offered to beneficiaries such as basic livelihood security recipients, low-income groups including the near-poor, the elderly, persons with disabilities, pregnant women, and infants. By type of support, there are 171 cash support services, 84 services including medical support, jobs, and care, 27 voucher services, and 23 in-kind support services.
After logging into Government24 and consenting to use Bojogeum24, any citizen can check the benefits they are entitled to receive from the government, as well as benefits available for children under 14 years old. The same information can also be obtained at nearby community service centers.
Previously, to check subsidies provided by various agencies, people had to visit each ministry’s website or government offices, but with the launch of the ‘Bojogeum24’ service, these inconveniences are expected to be resolved. It is also anticipated that cases of people not receiving subsidies because they did not know how to apply or were unaware of their eligibility will significantly decrease.
Before the official launch, a pilot service was conducted for residents of 13 local governments including Daegu (Dong, Seo, Suseong, Dalseo, Dalseong), Incheon (Yeonsu, Michuhol), and Chungnam (Boryeong, Asan, Seosan, Seocheon, Cheongyang, Hongseong) to pre-check and improve the ‘Bojogeum24’ service.
Starting with central government services, by the end of this year, local government services (about 6,000) will be added, and next year, services from public institutions and private organizations will also be available. In addition, benefits for family members will be included to ensure that elderly parents do not miss out on any benefits.

Minister Jeon Hae-cheol said, "Government subsidies are rights that citizens should rightfully enjoy. This service is expected to help those who have not received benefits simply because they did not know where to apply or whether they were eligible." He added, "Following the expansion of local government services in the second half of this year, we will extend the service to public institutions next year so that Bojogeum24 can become a more accessible support system for the people."
