Former Pro Baseball Player Lim Chang-yong Sent to Prosecution on Fraud Charges
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Jung-yoon] Former professional baseball player Lim Chang-yong (45), who is accused of borrowing money from an acquaintance and not repaying it, has been handed over to the prosecution.
Seoul Gangnam Police Station announced on the 27th that Lim, who is suspected of fraud, has been sent to the prosecution.
Lim is accused of borrowing 25 million won from a woman in her 30s whom he knew around July last year and failing to repay 15 million won.
The victim filed a complaint against Lim with the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office, and Gangnam Police Station took over the case around November of the same year and investigated both the complainant and the accused separately.
