Police Conduct Search and Seizure on Two Gumi City Council Members Over 'Speculation Allegations'
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwan-ju] The police have launched a forced investigation into two Gumi City council members in Gyeongbuk Province who are suspected of speculation.
The Gyeongbuk Provincial Police Agency's Special Investigation Unit on Real Estate Speculation conducted a search and seizure on the residences and council offices of two Gumi City council members, Mr. A and Mr. B, on the 27th.
They are suspected of purchasing land near the development project site promoted by Gumi City last year.
