On the 26th, the Geumcheon Police Station in Seoul announced that they are tracking an unidentified individual, referred to as A, who is suspected of sending sexual messages to others connected through an anonymous KakaoTalk chat room, in violation of the Special Act on the Punishment of Sexual Violence Crimes.
The victim claimed that on the 27th of last month, A shared a KakaoTalk open chat room link on the online community bulletin board "Everytime" of a private university in the metropolitan area with the message "Anyone come here," and then unilaterally continued sexual conversations by saying "I want to have erotic conversations" to those who joined the chat room.
