Financial Supervisory Service Opens Applications for 'Practical Finance' Courses at Universities for Second Semester 2021
Free Support for Course-Offering Universities, Financial Education Professors, and Textbooks
[Asia Economy Reporter Kwangho Lee] The Financial Supervisory Service announced on the 25th that it will accept applications for the opening of 'Practical Finance' courses for the second semester of 2021 at universities from the 26th until June 30th.
Since 2016, the Financial Supervisory Service has been supporting the establishment of Practical Finance courses at universities so that students can acquire financial skills necessary for daily life through regular curricula.
In the first semester, support was provided for course establishment at 81 universities nationwide. This accounts for about 24% of the 339 universities across the country, with approximately 6,200 students attending the lectures.
Universities that open the courses receive free support including finance education professors and textbooks.
