Nowon Police Station announced on the 22nd that a comparison between the DNA of suspects from unsolved cases stored at the National Forensic Service and Kim Tae-hyun's DNA showed no matches.
The Nowon Police Station, which investigated this case, sent Kim's DNA to the National Forensic Service twice, on the 28th of last month and the 5th of this month, to verify the possibility of his involvement in other unsolved cases.
Earlier, the police also conducted a psychopathy test on Kim and concluded that "although some traits such as antisocial tendencies appeared, it does not reach the level of a psychopathy diagnosis." Since the 8th, the police have deployed four profilers to interview Kim and analyze his psychopathic tendencies based on the collected materials, leading to this judgment. The police plan to share the analysis results with the prosecution as well.
