Dongjak-gu Supports Market Small Business Owners with Mobile Business Card Creation on Online Platform
Support for creating mobile business cards linked to SNS as an online platform for about 200 small business owners in Namseong Station Alley Market and Shindaebang 1-dong Alley Market area, and training to strengthen online marketing capabilities
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Dongjak-gu (Mayor Lee Chang-woo) announced on the 21st that it will support the ‘Small Business Online Platform Mobile Business Card Production’ to strengthen the competitiveness of alley market merchants in the non-face-to-face online consumption market.
Due to COVID-19 last year, face-to-face transactions decreased and online transactions increased significantly, rapidly shifting consumption patterns to a non-face-to-face focus. This initiative was prepared to respond to the changed consumption trends, strengthen online marketing capabilities, and create a foundation that can lead to increased sales.
First, small business owners participating in the project will be recruited from 200 stores around Namseong Station Alley Market and Shindaebang 1-dong Alley Market areas.
Through in-depth interviews with individual small business owners, they will select their desired SNS channels, and support will be provided to produce mobile business cards linked to these online platforms.
The mobile business card generates a QR code linked to the SNS channel, allowing real-time sharing of store and product introductions, orders, reservations, events, and various other content with customers.
To highlight the unique characteristics of each store, customized mobile business cards will be produced through one-on-one consultations with professional curators.
Along with this, the store’s recognition will be increased through live commerce promotions by professional show hosts and distribution of QR directory books, aiming to revitalize the local commercial district by attracting consumers.
Additionally, to enable small business owners to continuously manage their mobile business cards, education on utilization methods such as business card upgrades will be provided, and feedback will be supported through aftercare by digital curators.
For more details, inquiries can be made to the Economic Promotion Division.
Kim Jung-won, head of the Economic Promotion Division, said, “We hope that the production and support of business cards that can express the unique characteristics of each store will lead to increased sales,” and added, “We will strive to strengthen the competitiveness of small business owners by introducing contactless payment methods so that consumers can purchase products more easily.”
