US Maintains Level 2 Travel Alert for South Korea
Despite 80% of Countries Worldwide Announcing Travel Bans, No Changes Observed
[Asia Economy New York=Correspondent Baek Jong-min] The U.S. Department of State has maintained the travel advisory for South Korea at Level 2, "Enhanced Precautions."
On the 20th (local time), the State Department made extensive adjustments to travel advisories for countries worldwide in response to the COVID-19 situation.
The State Department's travel advisory levels for U.S. citizens are, in order: Level 1 - Exercise Normal Precautions, Level 2 - Enhanced Precautions, Level 3 - Reconsider Travel, and Level 4 - Do Not Travel.
