Samsung Compliance Committee holds meeting with affiliate labor-management advisory group... Agrees to exchange and cooperate
[Asia Economy Reporter Jeong Hyunjin] The Samsung Compliance Committee held a regular meeting on the 20th and announced that it will continue exchanges and cooperation with the labor-management advisory group of its affiliates.
At the meeting held in the afternoon at Seocho Tower in Seoul, all committee members including Chairman Kim Ji-hyung reviewed and approved internal transactions and external sponsorship agendas of affiliates such as Samsung Electronics, and discussed measures for handling received reports and tips.
The Compliance Committee stated that at the regular meeting, it shared the results of a meeting held on the 7th by the Labor Subcommittee within the committee with the labor-management advisory group of the affiliates. The Labor Subcommittee of the committee, composed of Chairman Kim, Member Ko Gye-hyun, and Member Sung In-hee, was formed to conduct in-depth discussions on labor-related issues of the affiliates. During the meeting, the committee and the labor-management advisory group of the affiliates shared key activities and agreed to continue exchanges and cooperation in the future.
Additionally, the Compliance Committee reviewed its activities over the past year and discussed improvement measures to prevent compliance risk violations by affiliates and to enhance compliance culture.
