The National Health Insurance Service Busan-Gyeongnam Regional Headquarters (Director Jang Su-mok) held a social contribution fund donation ceremony on the 20th at Buk-gu Office in Busan (Mayor Jeong Myeong-hee) to support the “Hello, Elderly” project.
On this day, the NHIS Busan-Gyeongnam Regional Headquarters generously donated 10 million won. The funds will be used for elderly people living alone in Buk-gu.
This project aims to prevent solitary deaths among elderly living alone amid population aging at the community level, and the NHIS Busan-Gyeongnam Regional Headquarters has been sponsoring the project since last year.
In the future, the project plans to expand its scale and scope to serve as a community safety net by guiding high-risk elderly groups to apply for long-term care insurance for the elderly.
