[Asia Economy Reporter Cha Min-young] Kim Chang-ryong, Standing Commissioner of the Korea Communications Commission, visited the headquarters of TVING on the morning of the 20th to meet with representatives Yang Ji-eul and Lee Myung-han, reviewing the status of in-house content production and listening to any difficulties they faced.
Commissioner Kim said, “I appreciate providing various content to citizens who face restrictions on outdoor activities due to the spread of COVID-19, helping them enjoy safe leisure time,” and added, “I visited to hear voices from the field directly and to understand what role the government should play in supporting domestic online video service (OTT) providers.”
