UK Surpasses 10 Million People Fully Vaccinated Against COVID-19

According to the UK government and foreign media on the 19th (local time), the number of people who received the second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine in the UK was 9,938,460 the previous day. It is expected to exceed 10 million on this day.
The number of people who received the first dose is about 32.85 million, roughly half of the total population (about 67 million). The UK started vaccinations in December last year and expanded the first dose target to those aged 45 and over from last week. After Pfizer and AstraZeneca, Moderna vaccinations have recently begun.
The daily confirmed COVID-19 cases in the UK once reached 70,000 but dropped to 1,882 on Sunday, the previous day. The number of deaths was 10. The number of COVID-19 tests recorded was about 988,000.
