Ministry of Unification "No Consideration to Regulate Radio Broadcasts to North Korea"
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Ji-eun] The Ministry of Unification stated on the 19th that it is not considering regulations on radio broadcasts to North Korea.
This was in response to some media reports claiming that the Ministry of Unification included 'transmission and reception through information and communication networks' among the items requiring the Minister of Unification's approval for export and import in the amendment to the Inter-Korean Exchange and Cooperation Act proposed last January, interpreting it as an attempt to block radio broadcasts to North Korea.
