Public Shopping, Special Broadcast on the 20th for 'Jangaeinui Nal' (Disability Day)
Special Exhibition of 7 Products from Disabled-Owned Businesses
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Public Shopping announced on the 18th that it will hold a special exhibition for 'Disability Day' on the 20th, featuring products from disabled-owned businesses. This special exhibition was planned to commemorate the 41st anniversary of 'Disability Day' this year, to promote the excellence of products from disabled-owned businesses and encourage consumption.
All seven companies introduced on this day are 'disabled-owned businesses' where either a disabled person is the representative or the proportion of disabled workers is over 30%. Mugunghwa Electronics, which produces 'BaroBaro Wireless Vacuum Packaging,' involves disabled persons directly in production and has been designated as a production facility for products made by persons with severe disabilities. Sejun Food, which produces 'Haneulcheong Sikhye,' has received certification as a 'Standard Workplace for Disabled Persons' with facilities suitable for disabled workers. Dubitnarae Cooperative, which makes 'Dubitnarae Nurungji,' is a cooperative founded by children with developmental disabilities and their parents, with 14 out of 20 employees being persons with developmental disabilities.
