KOTRA to Hold 'Online Korean Product Exhibition for China Region' from the 19th
Support for Expanding Exports to China... Held for 2 Weeks
Webinar with Trade Office Heads and Experts from 21 Chinese Regions Held... O2O Consultation Meeting Also Conducted
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heung-soon] KOTRA announced on the 18th that it will hold the 'China Region Online Korean Product Exhibition' for two weeks starting from the 19th to support domestic small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and mid-sized companies in entering the Chinese market.
KOTRA will promote participating companies' products in advance through the digital trade platform 'BuyKorea' online exhibition hall. In addition, in line with recent online marketing trends, promotional marketing using China's leading social networking service (SNS) platforms such as WeChat and Baidu will also be pursued.
In some regions, an O2O (online-to-offline) consultation meeting will be held concurrently, where Chinese buyers visit offline consultation venues displaying participating companies' products and meet domestic companies through non-face-to-face video calls.
In conjunction with the Korean product exhibition, a webinar on regional entry strategies and market trends in China will be held for five days starting from the 19th. Twenty-one trade center heads from the China region will serve as speakers to present recent market trend changes and entry strategies by region.
Additionally, five experts will help participants understand five major topics necessary for entering the Chinese market: big data, testing and certification, intellectual property rights, online marketing, and personal information protection law. Webinar participants can select their regions and topics of interest over the five days and will have opportunities for real-time Q&A with the speakers.
After the conclusion of this China region Korean product exhibition, KOTRA plans to provide follow-up management to help our companies achieve export results based on individual consultation outcomes. Support will include sample delivery, as well as ongoing video consultations and proxy visit consultations between our companies and buyers.
