Gwangju Office of Education Promotes 'The Happy Companion' Filled with Love on Transportation Cards
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Gwan-woo] The Gwangju Metropolitan Office of Education announced on the 15th that it received a donation of 33 million KRW for youth transportation expenses from NH Nonghyup Bank Gwangju Business Headquarters.
The youth transportation donation is part of the ‘The Haengbokhan Donghaeng’ project and will be entrusted to the Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation Gwangju Headquarters. It will be provided as 200,000 KRW each in public transportation cards (sponsored by Hanpay production) to 150 middle school students recommended by school principals in the district.
‘The Haengbokhan Donghaeng,’ promoted by the Metropolitan Office of Education, is a project that supports low-income and culturally marginalized students by receiving sponsorships from private organizations through cooperation with the local community.
