Sancheong-gun Provides 700,000 KRW Income Stability Fund to Local Transportation Workers
For Taxi Corporations and Chartered Bus Corporations with Decreased Sales Due to COVID-19
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Sancheong-gun, Gyeongnam announced on the 15th that it will provide income stabilization funds of 700,000 KRW per person to corporate taxi and charter bus drivers whose income has decreased due to the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
The eligible drivers are those who joined before February 1 of this year and are currently still working. Corporate drivers whose sales decrease has been confirmed can submit an application form to their company.
Drivers whose sales decrease has not been confirmed but whose personal income has decreased can submit the application form and proof of income reduction directly to Sancheong-gun.
However, recipients of other COVID-19 damage support programs included in the 4th disaster relief fund such as the Small Business Support Fund cannot receive duplicate benefits.
