Gwangjin-gu, Geumwoo International · Mr. Yu Kyung-seok and Others Awarded 2021 Diligent Taxpayer Commendation
Awards Presented to 3 Corporations and 2 Individuals Selected as Diligent Taxpayers in 2021... Benefits Include Free Public Parking and Exemption from Local Tax Audits
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Gwangjin-gu (District Mayor Kim Seon-gap) awarded certificates of commendation to five individuals selected as diligent taxpayers of 2021 on the 14th.
The district selects diligent taxpayers every year to promote the pride of taxpayers who pay taxes exemplary and to foster a sound tax payment culture.
This year, a total of five were selected, including three corporations: Geumwoo International, Genpix International, and Hee, as well as two individuals, Yu Kyung-seok and Lee Yong-cheol.
The criteria for selecting diligent taxpayers are residents or corporations located in the district who have no outstanding tax arrears for the past three years and have faithfully reported and paid three or more local taxes annually, such as automobile tax, property tax, and local income tax. The final selection is made through deliberation by the Gwangjin-gu Local Tax Deliberation Committee.
Diligent taxpayers receive certificates of commendation and benefits such as exemption from parking fees for one year when using the district's public parking lots. Corporations are also exempt from local tax audits conducted by the district for three years.
