[Asia Economy (Daejeon) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] On the 13th, Kim Yong-seon, Deputy Commissioner of the Korean Intellectual Property Office (KIPO), attended the IP5 Deputy Commissioner Meeting held via video conference and discussed the establishment of an IP5 cooperation roadmap related to advanced technology and artificial intelligence, harmonization measures for examination policies and systems, and plans for the next high-level meeting. This meeting was arranged to coordinate the agenda to be addressed at the upcoming IP5 Commissioner Meeting scheduled for June. The IP5 consists of the patent offices of Korea, the United States, China, Japan, and Europe.
