KT Provides One-Stop Online Education Platform Service to Small and Medium Academies
[Asia Economy Reporter Seulgina Cho] KT announced on the 14th that it will launch a dedicated service for small and medium-sized academies on its online education platform ‘KT Ransen Edu,’ which integrates KT’s ABC (Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, Cloud) capabilities.
KT Ransen Edu is an online education platform that KT commercially distributed nationwide to elementary, middle, and high schools in March. It is characterized by integrating fragmented individual services such as student attendance management systems and online video conferencing services. KT plans to add services specialized for academy environments to help small and medium-sized academies undergo digital transformation.
The newly launched dedicated service for small and medium-sized academies is linked with the existing academy management systems used by academies, allowing instructors to easily conduct real-time video classes without installing separate programs. Considering the academy class environment, separate permissions are provided exclusively for teaching assistants as well as instructors, and the academy can manage class participation status in real time. Real-time quiz submissions during video classes are also possible. The content written on the whiteboard by instructors during class is separately saved using the whiteboard function.
KT will provide the KT Ransen Edu service free of charge to small and medium-sized academies until the end of June and will operate a dedicated call center for instructors. Starting next month, it will also offer corporate education specialized services tailored to the non-face-to-face meeting and in-house training needs of small and medium-sized franchise operators and other small businesses.
