The promotional hall is an open space utilizing a 419㎡ wall area in the first-floor lobby of the council building.
Residents can freely view the digital promotional space that uses information and communication technologies such as graphic panels and digital video equipment.
It consists of the "Window of History," which contains the history and chronology of the council from the inaugural assembly in 1952, a photo zone, the "Window of Communication" where visitors can write messages to the council, the Legislative Archives displaying council relics and souvenirs, the Legislative Status section where visitors can watch committee status and meeting videos, and a promotional video screening corner.
Additionally, there is a section called "Meet Your Local Workers," which includes introduction videos allowing residents to meet their local district council members and various other content.
Chairman Kim Hayong said, "At the promotional hall, you can see at a glance the history the council has passed through and the passionate legislative activities of the council members," adding, "By providing a space where the roles, functions, and legislative activities of the council can be experienced, I hope it becomes a communication hub that brings us closer to the residents."
