The Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority will participate online in the '2021 Hannover Messe Digital Edition,' held from the 12th to the 16th, to widely promote the investment potential of the Incheon Free Economic Zone to overseas investors and secure multinational companies in the fields of industrial automation and computer software as potential investors through consultations.
Celebrating its 74th edition this year, the Hannover Messe in Germany is an exhibition where various technologies opening the era of smart manufacturing in preparation for the 4th Industrial Revolution are unveiled, allowing a comprehensive view of industrial trends.
The exhibition, themed 'Industrial Transformation,' is being held as an online non-face-to-face investment briefing using a partnering platform due to COVID-19.
About 7,000 companies in intelligent production and smart industry fields, including those in industrial automation such as Amazon Web Services, Beckhoff Automation, KUKA, Microsoft, and Siemens, are participating.
Ahead of the exhibition, the Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority has pre-requested one-on-one meetings targeting 166 potential investors, including parts, materials, and information and communication technology (ICT) companies, and plans to conduct customized investment consultations with eight companies, including industrial automation equipment manufacturers and system application software developers based in Germany.
Additionally, during the exhibition period, a webpage has been organized to enable direct communication with companies as in an offline exhibition, and based on this, investment attraction will be pursued through chat or video calls with companies interested in the Incheon Free Economic Zone.
