[Asia Economy Reporter Ki Ha-young] BC Card announced on the 13th that it will introduce a non-face-to-face credit card issuance application service on the payment finance platform 'Paybook'.
BC Card recently added a 'Recommended Card' service to Paybook Finance as non-face-to-face online card issuance via PC and mobile has increased. Currently, within Paybook Finance's card section, users can apply for and receive issuance of cards specialized for regular payments, daily life (mart, telecommunications fees, etc.), and online shopping, including ▲ Card-ui Jeongseok Untact (Woori Card) ▲ Daily With, Ilsang-ui Gippeum (IBK Industrial Bank) ▲ ZZIN Card (Suhyup Bank). BC Card plans to continue expanding the cards available for issuance.
A cashback event is also being held for customers who receive the recommended cards. Customers who receive the Card-ui Jeongseok Untact and use it for more than 25,000 KRW each month for six months will receive a total cashback benefit of 150,000 KRW, 25,000 KRW per month. Additionally, for the Ilsang-ui Gippeum and Daily With cards, a 50,000 KRW benefit is provided upon spending 100,000 KRW by May 10, and for the ZZIN card, a 40,000 KRW benefit is given upon using 40,000 KRW by July 10. Customers who receive all Paybook recommended cards can receive a total cashback of 240,000 KRW.
The cashback event requires customers to complete the 'Support Fund Application Entry' on the respective recommended card page within Paybook after applying for the card, and is provided once initially to customers who have no payment history with the respective card company within the six months prior to card issuance.
