청 "The event inviting businesspeople has not been canceled"
Kang Min-seok, Blue House Spokesperson, Explains "Event Postponed Considering Schedules of Democratic Party and Businesspeople"
[Asia Economy Reporter Ryu Jeong-min] The Blue House denied media reports claiming that it canceled an event inviting business leaders due to the results of the April 7 by-elections.
Kang Min-seok, spokesperson for the Blue House, stated on the 12th, "'The report that the Blue House abruptly canceled the event inviting business leaders due to the by-election results' is completely untrue. Considering the schedules of the Democratic Party and business leaders, the event was postponed, and cancellation is not true."
Earlier, some media outlets reported that the Blue House had planned to invite heads of the four major conglomerates and other business leaders on the 21st to hold an event related to the Digital New Deal, but the schedule was canceled on the 7th, raising suspicions about its connection to the by-elections.
