Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries Supports Aquaculture of Red Sea Bream and Trout... Up to 1 Million KRW
Starting from the 13th, the 'COVID-19 Overcoming English Support Voucher Project' will be implemented
[Sejong=Asia Economy Reporter Kwon Haeyoung] The Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries announced on the 12th that it will provide up to 1 million KRW to support the business stability of aquaculture farms suffering economic difficulties due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic.
This is part of the 'COVID-19 Overcome Aquaculture Support Voucher Project,' funded by the 4th supplementary budget, which will be implemented starting from the 13th.
The support targets are aquaculture farms producing 15 items (such as Chamdome and Song-eo) that are judged to have been directly affected by COVID-19, and whose sales in 2020 decreased compared to the previous year for the respective items. Farms eligible for support will receive a total of 1 million KRW in aquaculture support vouchers.
Farms wishing to apply can visit the jurisdictional city, county, or district (or eup, myeon, dong) office of their aquaculture site in person by the 30th to submit their application.
