[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Junhyung] On the 10th at around 8:08 PM, a fire broke out in a pile of garbage at the Environmental Resource Recovery Facility located in Gumi-si, Gyeongbuk, and the fire department began extinguishing efforts.
According to the Gyeongbuk Fire Headquarters, 20 fire trucks and 40 firefighters are currently deployed to extinguish the fire. The fire authorities issued a Level 1 response at around 9:05 PM, mobilizing all personnel from the local fire station.
