Gwangsan-gu Women's Association 16th and 17th Presidents Inauguration Ceremony Held
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Gwan-woo] The inauguration and retirement ceremony for the 16th and 17th presidents of the Gwangsan-gu Women's Association was held on the afternoon of the 9th at Yunsangwon Hall on the 7th floor of the Gwangsan-gu Office.
At the event, a plaque of appreciation was presented to former president Jeon Seon-young, who served as the 15th and 16th president, in recognition of her dedication.
The Gwangsan-gu Women's Association was founded in 1988 and has been active for over 30 years with the purpose of promoting women's rights and contributing to the development of the local community.
In her inauguration speech, 17th president Yoon Mi-sun expressed her aspirations, stating, "I will contribute to creating happiness made by women and realizing a happy Gwangsan by promoting awareness of gender equality, conducting campaigns to prevent gender-based violence, expanding women's activities in the local community, and creating a safe living environment for women."
