[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Oh Hwan-joo] Muan-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Kim San) announced on the 8th that it is operating a vaccine call center to ensure smooth COVID-19 vaccination and minimize inconvenience to residents.
The call center operates on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., handling civil complaint calls such as checking for adverse reactions after vaccination and providing guidance on how to report them.
In addition, the Disease Control Agency Muan-gun Public Health Center operates a 24-hour hotline year-round, allowing consultations at any time for symptoms of vaccine-related side effects or inquiries.
A county official urged, “Symptoms like pain at the injection site, mild fever, and muscle pain, similar to cold symptoms, usually disappear after 2 to 3 days. However, if there are serious allergic reactions accompanied by a high fever above 39℃, difficulty breathing, loss of consciousness, or swelling of the lips or mouth, please report immediately to the call center and seek medical assistance.”
Governor Kim San said, “Vaccination is essential to regain our daily lives from COVID-19,” and added, “We hope everyone actively participates in social distancing and vaccination for the healthy tomorrow of ourselves, our families, and our society.”
