Building a Specialized Anshim Respiratory Center Next to Boramae Hospital
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyemin] A specialized respiratory safety center for COVID-19 response will be built next to Boramae Hospital in Dongjak-gu, Seoul.
On the 7th, Seoul held the 4th Urban Planning Committee meeting and announced on the 8th that it had approved a revised urban planning facility and land use change plan to construct the Boramae Hospital Respiratory Safety Center in the area of 722 Shindaebang-dong, Dongjak-gu.
This plan is part of expanding public medical infrastructure to respond to infectious diseases, focusing on constructing a respiratory safety center with three basement floors and four above-ground floors. To this end, the city changed the use of part of Boramae Park (6,640㎡) to an urban planning facility for expanding comprehensive medical facilities.
In exchange for the partial loss of the park, a new substitute park will be built at San 2-45, Sinnae-dong, Jungnang-gu.
