Gangnam-gu Vaccine Center Installation Completed... Vaccinations Begin for Over 28,800 People Including Seniors Aged 75 and Older from the 15th
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Gangnam-gu (District Mayor Jeong Soon-gyun) has set up a COVID-19 vaccination center at the ‘Ilwon Eco Center’ and will begin vaccinations for approximately 28,800 people, including seniors aged 75 and older, starting from the 15th.
The center is equipped with 8 preliminary examination rooms and 16 vaccination rooms, staffed by a professional team consisting of doctors, nurses, and public officials.
The district conducted simulation training over two days, on the 5th and 6th, to ensure that every step of the vaccination process is carried out safely without any mistakes.
Staff members divided roles between vaccine recipients and guides, conducting training that simulated the entire vaccination process from filling out and submitting preliminary examination forms, doctor examinations, vaccination, to responding to adverse reactions.
In particular, a separate observation room was prepared to monitor adverse reactions after vaccination, with emergency bells installed at each chair to enable immediate response in case of an emergency.
Meanwhile, Gangnam-gu plans to provide six shuttle buses to transport seniors comfortably to and from the vaccination center.
